On the inside, I used the gummy bears image in the Sweetest Thing set and stamped it multiple times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink across the bottom of a Whisper White panel. I also cut a few gummy bears and added them to the sentiment with Liquid Glue and the card front was done. I did a quick fussy cut of a lollipop and slid it under the “bow” – popping the candy part on with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. To make the “bow”, I tied a short piece of the reversible ribbon around the length that was there, trimming the ends to look bow-ish. When all was cooled off, I cut it with the die in the bundled Jar of Sweets Framelits and popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment, from the Sweetest Thing stamp set, is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Coastal Cabana card stock. I cut the gummy bears paper with the largest square Stitched Shapes Framelits die, matted it on a scalloped square of Pineapple Punch and popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a length of new Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon around the card front and secured it in the back with a couple of Glue Dots. Next are two panels of the How Sweet It Is DSP, both matted on Pineapple Punch and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue. I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock that I embossed in the Tufted Dynamic TIEF and then matted on Pineapple Punch for the card front. The layout for this one comes from the Tuesday Morning Sketches. My card today is one that’s kind of out of my comfort zone color-wise, but…I think it turned out cute! I used the new Sweet Thing stamp set and a few pieces of How Sweet It Is DSP to make a fun little birthday card.
